three meteors were observed within a half-hour as follows:
(1) Meteor, yellowish white in color, dim, train short, ap-
peared at 15° altitude bearing 025°. Moved in a westerly direc-
tion and disappeared at 12° altitude.
(2) Meteor, yellow, medium brilliance, long stationary train.
Appeared at 45° altitude, bearing 095°. Moved in a northerly
direction and disappeared d at 30 altitude.
(3) Meteor, platinum in color, very bright, short train. Ap-
peared at 55° altitude, bearing 286°. Moved in a southerly direc-
tion and disappeared at 35 altitude.

Liberian S. S. Ulysses,
Capt. reports that at 2349 G. M. T. on Octo-
ber 11, 1952, while on a voyage from Puerto la Cruz to Philadel-
phia in lat. 22°46' N., lon. 69°07' W., he observed a luminous
object which appeared in the e western sky traveling eastward
with tremendous speed. It lightened up the whole sky with a
bluish-green light which gradually diminished un til the object
disappeared in the east after about 7 seconds.

G. M. T. on Getcher 15, 1952, in lat. 11°39” N., "let. 97°17’ E., a
metcor was observed bearing 060° at an altitude of 21°, almost
in range with Procyon. The phenomenon which was about 1
second duration ascended slightly toward Sirius where it disap-
peared at an altitude of 25°, bearing 107°.
